The customer had an extensive cooling system comprising a Cooling Tower and several process water tanks with no treatment programme in place and evident microbiological activity and bacterial growth.

M&S Water Services Limited administered a full clean and chlorination of the Cooling Tower and process water tanks. An automated dosing system was installed using scale and corrosion inhibitors and alternating biocides. An L8 training course for all staff was undertaken and a log book stored on site for record keeping.

With the implementation of a comprehensive service and treatment programme, monthly visits, analysis and recommendations meant that the customer fully complied with the legislation and had an easily referenced and accessible management system that kept the staff informed and safe and the plant in good, safe condition
