Newly installed pipework was connected to an existing, older part of the heating system which contained water with scale and corrosion deposits. The client was concerned that the new pipework would be vulnerable to damage from these deposits.

M&S Water Services Limited used a non-toxic dispersant circulating within the heating system to displace, then breakdown the scale and corrosion deposits. The system water was then flushed for a period and all scale and corrosion deposits removed through gradual bleed. An effective specialised inhibitor was subsequently added to protect all the clean pipework.

The newly installed pipework was immediately protected and the existing part of the heating system was free from potential further damage. The Dynamic Flush and subsequent inhibitor addition has extended the life of the pipework.
