Food & Beverage processing plant in the North West

On our initial survey of a potential customer we noted that no previous treatment had taken place on the Evaporative Condensers. This resulted in us having to “punch” our way through the scale that had formed on the internal surfaces of the towers along with the access hatches to check the internal conditions.

We determined that an acid clean would need to be carried out to remove the high levels of scale from within the towers.

A successful acid clean and was carried out on the towers and a physical strip down and clean-up of the resulting debris. The customer noted an increase in efficiency of the system cooling and therefore a considerable reduction in energy costs.
