Site complained of a re-occurring blocked filters, pin holes appearing in the joints and having to carry out weekly maintenance on the system.
We attended site and initial analysis of the system confirmed that the system had not been flushed, cleaned and treated properly during the installation.
M & S Water Services Limited dosed the system with a cleaning agent, circulated it for 48 hours then flushed the system through with mains water until levels were within guidelines. We then dosed the system with a suitable corrosion inhibitor.
Since undertaking the works none of the site filters have fouled up and we now carry out routine monitoring of the system and have noted no further issues. Site no longer have to clear the filters on a weekly basis.
